I just wanted to say what an awesome book Romy’s Chance is!! It was so exciting and such a fun read, I loved how towards the end, Romy's Pa came to watch the rest of the jumping and how he encouraged Romy to keep going even though he was scared! At the repeated requests of many young readers of The Adventures of Romy, I have finally completed the sequel.
Romy’s impetuous decision to buy Chance and save him from being put down is one I fully understand. I think all horse lovers at some stage in their lives dream of rescuing a pony. I know I did when I was a child.
I enjoyed writing about Romy’s struggles and challenges with both his father and the colt, and I hope as the story unfolds, my readers will learn something about patience, determination and courage.
